The first post required for your blog is based on the in-class style lessons for steps #1-4, where you created a distinct core statement, the persona you want to portray and your audience.
Your job is to write 3 paragraphs:
- In the first paragraph, introduce your topic, including your “core statement” at the beginning of the paragraph. Then, give some explanation of what you plan to write about here, what angle you will cover and what you hope readers will get/learn from your blog. What will readers expect to see that is different from other blogs like yours?
- In the second paragraph, introduce yourself. Write 3 essential personality traits of your blogging “persona”. Include why you have passion for the topic, what assets make you credible and why you think there is demand for your ideas. You should also include some details about your writing style and attitude.
- In the third paragraph, who is your ideal reader? Use the AUDIENCE preparation in step #4 to write a profile with 4-5 traits you expect from those who would find your ideas interesting.
ReplyDeleteHi, I’m here to introduce my blog. Ever in the garage working on your car and you’re stuck trying to figure out what to do? You then surf the web for hours trying to find answers. But, you get lost and can not find a darn thing that is helpful or related to what you’re looking for. Well, my blog was made for me, and you to post freely to in separate sections to discuss problems and troubleshoot them so you can get back on the road. I know there is many blogs and sites, but I want to keep it simple. No searching for hours. Sectioned in different manufacturers and car types with DIY videos and posts with pictures for your convenience.
Now, to describe myself for you all. I’d like to introduce some humor in videos that are not just informational videos. I want to keep it more than just a bland informational site(that is really boring, right?). Keeping it simple. Thats a big point I like to keep in mind. When performing something difficult, I will think about simpler ways around it and still getting it done correctly. Something we all can enjoy. Finally, I am questionable. Some things I write will keep you wondering what I said. If that happens, Just tell me to explain it to you a little more in depth. I write fast, so it is bound to happen.
Now, For my Ideal reader on my blog, The ones who are impatient, aggravated, and humorous, You’d be the ones my blog is directed. I hate waiting to finish the job. I always want it finished as soon as possible, I know what it is like to wait endlessly for something to be fixed/finished. Very nerve racking. When I can not find what I need, I might start getting a little ticked off, It can aggravate me when the darn google search will not find what you are looking for even though it has been typed in the most basic english understanding you can think of. But with all that being said, I like to have a nice laugh here and there. Well, we all do. Like when you’re finished replacing the part you spent hours working on and your car starts doing the same thing after you start it back up. You just sit there laughing, crying on the inside, wishing it was not actually happening, But eventually man up and re do everything in an effort to get it done right.
Your blog is good i like your blog that people just go on the site ask how to fix stuff.

DeleteColin, I like that I can tell you have a passion....for cars, right? You could be more clear here about that and about who you are in your paragraph about yourself. However, I do think you have a topic that will work well and I'm excited to see more about what you know (because I do not!!)

ReplyDeleteI believe graphic design is easy to learn. I believe that people can learn it easier, I was researching about learning about graphic design by yourself from learning on the internet. Some people take classes but they have to pay some people don’t got the pay for the classes so they instead try to learn it by them self but it will take times. i’m gonna teach you through my blog how to learn graphic design fast and easy.

I believe it's important to show tactics and areas you should look for to find different fish for open water fishing. Hi I am dakota I have been fishing since I can remember. I got started by my dad just taking me out fishing. I fish about 3 to 4 times a week. And I am pretty good at fishing and know a lot about it. That's why i'm a credible source because I have a lot of experience.
People who will find this blog interesting are fishermen outdoors men or those just interested in reading new things. Some interest you need for reading my blog is that you like to fish. You can be male or female to read my blog. And you can be any age to read my blog it's for everyone.
Even if I don't like to fish, I do want to read your blog. I am excited to learn some things that might make me like fishing better....or at least understand why other people like it. That's your job, Dakota! As you work, remember you are writing for people who might not know much....and keep working to make sure what you write it clear and polished.
